Year Ahead

A year is the **great circle of the zodiac**, 12 months as 12 aeons of Gnostic cosmology. Each month is a **gate** through which the soul passes, gaining experience. Twelve cards show the **great spiral** of the annual cycle.

In Valentinian Gnosticism, **12 aeons** form the Pleroma – the fullness of the divine. Likewise, 12 months form the fullness of the life year. This is not a forecast of a fixed future, but a **map of potentials** – what lessons, what challenges, what gifts each month brings. Knowing the themes of the months, you can **consciously co-create** your year.

Traditionally done on a birthday or New Year. Keep a journal – note how the themes of the months unfold. The accuracy often amazes, because this is not prediction, but **reading the energetic flows** of time.
